Sumner County commissioners voted to approve two board appointments and to fill a vacancy on the regional planning commission, confirming an appointee to serve through Jan. 26.

County staff presented nominations, saying Don Abbott would replace John Abbott and noting that Steve Salazar had resigned. A commissioner moved to approve the two nominees and the motion was seconded; commissioners voted by voice and the motion passed.
