Zagorz said she has written permission from neighboring properties to use parking on weekends and will seek additional arrangements as needed.
Commissioner Weymouth moved to recommend the use‑district exception for parcel 641‑16‑001, and Commissioner Swanson Sawyer seconded; the motion carried on a unanimous roll call. A subsequent motion to permit two off‑street parking spaces (variance of four) for the mixed‑use structure also passed unanimously. Commissioners noted historical precedent from prior daycare and mixed‑use approvals in the area and asked staff to check existing 30‑minute parking time limits on Wilmore Avenue, which staff suggested might be a leftover from earlier uses.
Zagorz described the project as a small neighborhood storefront and a place for neighbors to gather and for entrepreneurs to test products. "I would love to have people stop and get to know one another more," she said.
As with other decisions, the commission’s votes are recommendations; final approval rests with Euclid City Council and the applicant must secure required permits and a certificate of occupancy before any change in use occurs.
