WFCO updates commissioners: about 90 employees now, plans to add laser and invest millions

"We've added, since we asked for the proposal, approximately 22" positions, the speaker said. He described product diversification into agricultural and automotive sectors, including utility truck beds and data-center racks, and told the board WFCO expects to invest roughly $6,000,000 in capital over the next few years to support that growth.
The board thanked the company, and Lauren Storm with Greater Hutch (Speaker 7) spoke to the partnerships that support business growth and quality job development in Reno County. The company update was recorded as part of the consent agenda; the consent agenda vote passed unanimously.
