The Village of Jackson board approved several construction payments and one change order tied to infrastructure projects during its Nov. 11 meeting.
Change Order No. 2 for the 2024 wastewater treatment plant tertiary filters and UV disinfection project was approved; the change order reduces the contract by $8,470.66, per the Board of Public Works and Budget & Finance recommendation.
The board approved pay request No. 18 for JH Hassinger in the amount of $28,036.59 and approved the final pay request No. 19 for JH Hassinger for $230,930.58 (the packet figure). A speaker during discussion misstated a much larger number that was corrected in the meeting transcript and by trustees; the board approved the final pay request by voice vote.
The board also approved pay request No. 4 for the 2025 Hickory Lane reconstruction project to Vinton Construction for $618,120.14. Public Works staff (Jack) said punch-list items remain and the project is expected to close out in the first quarter of next year, with reseeding to be observed in spring.
Budget & Finance also recommended approval of reimbursement request No. 15 to the Clean Water Fund loan for $296,155.05 related to the wastewater project; the board approved that request.
Each action was approved by voice vote with no recorded opposition at the meeting.
