SWAC approves August minutes and reappoints three members
Summary
At the December SWAC meeting commissioners approved the August meeting minutes and voted to reappoint incumbents to the agriculture seat (Joe), the City of Vancouver seat (Will) and the public interest groups seat (Gabe); staff will send a letter of recommendation to county council.
The Clark County Solid Waste Advisory Commission approved the August minutes and unanimously approved three reappointments during its Dec. 5 meeting.
Amanda (staff) told the commission that three positions have terms expiring before the February meeting and that each incumbent — Joe (agriculture seat), Will (City of Vancouver seat) and Gabe (public interest groups seat) — had indicated willingness to serve another term. Commissioners voted aye on each reappointment; Amanda said the next step is a letter of recommendation to the county council to formalize the appointments.
The motion to approve the August minutes was moved by a commissioner and seconded; a voice vote carried the motion. The reappointments were voted on individually and recorded as approved during the meeting.
