The Muskego City Finance Committee voted Nov. 11 to approve a resolution raising dog-license fees for city dogs.
S6, City staff member, told the committee the current fee for a spayed or neutered dog was $10 and $15 for an unspayed or unneutered dog. "We're changing them from $10/$15 to $15/$20," S6 said, adding the new amounts also cover the annual fee the city pays to vendor Haas.
Committee members had no further questions and approved the resolution by voice vote. The item was presented as a routine revenue/fee adjustment following similar actions at the county level, which S6 said took place last year.
The committee’s approval amends the city’s license schedule as presented to the committee; the resolution passed in committee and was recorded as approved by voice vote.
