The Clare County Board approved county expenditures for October 2025 totaling $7,899,701.34 at its meeting, and earlier in the session cleared statutory finance payments, county officials said.
Chair (Speaker 1) moved to approve the October expenditures, which the board recorded as including $1,529,192.19 in general fund spending. Speaker 3 seconded the motion; the board proceeded to a roll-call vote. Gilmore, Haskell, Hauser, Jasmine, Residus, Franken, Gross and Holding were each recorded as voting "Yes," and the chair announced the motion carried.
Earlier in the meeting Speaker 3 moved to approve statutory payments that included a line of $336,733.28 and a second line read in the transcript as "69,420 ... and 48¢." That motion also passed on a roll-call vote in which Majeski, Reinking, Brutitis, Edwin, Albert, Gross, Gilmore and Asgrow were recorded as voting "Yes." Speaker 1 announced "Motion carried."
The board handled the votes as routine roll-call approvals; no amendments or recorded dissent appeared on either item in the transcript. Officials did not provide further breakdowns in the meeting record for the statutory payments beyond the amounts read aloud.
The board then moved on to other business and adjourned later in the session.
