Please follow these rules," Judge Boyd told attendees as she opened the calendar and reminded counsel and defendants about interpreter availability, paperless filings, and courtroom decorum. The court announced that a jury would be called later in the day and advised attorneys to confer with probation officers before approaching the bench.
The hearing included multiple plea dispositions the court accepted and then imposed supervision conditions on. In State v. David Barefield the third, the court accepted stipulated evidence and granted deferred adjudication for possession of a controlled substance (Penalty Group 1).
