Las Vegas civil service trustees approve minutes, certify and extend multiple eligible lists

The Las Vegas Board of Civil Service Trustees on Nov. 12 approved prior meeting minutes and certified or extended a series of eligibility lists and classification specifications during a brief meeting that included roll call but no public comment.

Before adjourning, the chair reminded attendees that public-comment remarks must be limited to subjects within the board’s jurisdiction and that matters not on the agenda cannot be acted upon at the meeting. With no citizens speaking, the meeting was adjourned.
