Orange County trustee urges closer county-district collaboration during FJUHSD public comment

"We want to use our Orange County Board of Education newsletter as a platform to showcase some of the district level achievements," Shaw said, noting the county’s aim to share updates, resources and opportunities for engagement across Orange County.
Shaw said the county board hoped to highlight classroom innovation, student accomplishments and community partnerships while improving collaboration and accessibility. He closed by thanking trustees and saying he looked forward to partnership opportunities.
The board thanked Shaw for his remarks; no formal board action followed because non-agenda public comments cannot be acted upon at the meeting.
