Planner Matt summarized the application and said the parcel is split‑zoned, previously reviewed by staff and the state highway office. Tim, an engineer with Land Engineering, told the commission he had received a final approval letter from the State Highway Administration after addressing comments. Remaining items noted for signature include the stormwater maintenance and inspection agreement and forest conservation instruments and associated bonding.
The proposal would provide a gravel parking and storage area where trailers will be stored, sold and leased and will operate by appointment with minimal on‑site employees. Staff said the application met site‑plan review standards and recommended approval.
After brief technical questions about access (driveway will use an existing easement) and standard paperwork, a commissioner moved and the commission voted to accept the site plan as presented.
Next steps: staff will coordinate final signatures on the stormwater and forest conservation agreements and prepare the final order for the approved site plan.
