Commission schedules project updates: courthouse expansion, jail sewer and bridge work; Patrick Danville to start soon

Speaker 1 said Mister Rai will attend the next meeting to update the commission on the courthouse expansion, health department projects and the jail sewer project. "Mister Rai will be here next week to tell to get you an update on what's going on in the town, with the courthouse expansion," Speaker 1 said.
On pipeline crossings, the commission reported Kinder Morgan told staff it had completed about 35% of the projects and expected many of them to be done by February; staff said they had not encountered property-owner issues so far. Speaker 4 noted bridge excavation would begin this week and estimated the broader bridge work could take a year or two, with lane restrictions limited to one lane at a time.
Speaker 1 also discussed a personnel/contract item: Patrick Danville can begin as early as next Wednesday or on Dec. 1, and Speaker 1 said staff would coordinate to have him start sooner if county leaders prefer.
