The City of Doral honored Red Lobster with its Keep Doral Beautiful business award during the Nov. 12 council meeting.
Danny del Toro, interim court compliance director, presented the award and said the restaurant, at 1695 Northwest 87th Avenue, "has been in the city of Doral for 27 years." He described the site as "approximately 65,000 total square feet" and said the business has "42 employees." "It is with great pleasure that we name Red Lobster for the Keep The Route Beautiful business award for their continued efforts," Del Toro said.
Managers Jesse Yagual and Valentina Pocari accepted the recognition and thanked the council. "Just thank you," one manager said.
The award recognizes ongoing maintenance efforts that include routine exterior cleaning, landscape detailing and periodic parking-lot seal coating.
