At its November meeting the Clatsop County Board of Commissioners took several formal actions by voice vote.
Agenda: The board approved an amended agenda that added a sheriff briefing on ICE activity between the consent calendar and commissioner reports. Motion to approve the amended agenda was moved and seconded and carried by voice vote.
Proclamation: The board approved a resolution proclaiming Dec. 6, 2025 as Jeanie Maddox Petersen Day in recognition of her decades of work founding Maddox Dance Studio and leading the Little Ballet Theatre. The proclamation recognized Petersen’s service to arts education and authorized the chair to sign the proclamation.
Consent Calendar: The board approved the consent calendar (nine items) by voice vote.
Collective Bargaining Agreements: Human Resources Director Rebecca Cameron presented and the board approved two collective bargaining agreements covering 2025–2028: one between Clatsop County and the Oregon Nurses Association and a second between Clatsop County District Attorney office and AFSCME Local 2746‑DA. In both cases the board authorized the chair to sign the agreements.
Budget Committee Appointments: The board appointed David Ozer (District 3) and Bob Bomer (District 5) to the Countywide Budget Committee to full terms expiring June 2028.
