The RFP scope would ask a qualified architectural/engineering team to complete the master plan within six months, deliver site‑selection support for a corporation yard rebuild, prepare bid documents for the selected site and partner with CAL FIRE on fire station design options. Councilmembers emphasized speed and community input; the motion to issue the RFP passed unanimously.
Next steps: staff will release the RFP, evaluate proposals and return with a recommended award and budget authority if needed.
