- Authorization to pay USG Water Solutions $2,061,935 for 2025 work on the John Street water tower and authorization for the mayor to execute related documentation.
- Approval of a supplemental payment of $936,854 to Bend Corporation for delivery of a custom pumper ordered in 2022; trustees authorized execution of paperwork needed for delivery.
- Approval of an administrative-services proposal from WEX for HRA services (estimated annual fees), with village-attorney review before execution.
- Approval for the Union Fire Company to host the annual Thanksgiving dinner during the week of Nov. 24 and permission for the BSBPA to conduct the annual holiday parade on Dec. 5 (proof of insurance provided).
- Authorization of an additional $7,500 to Fisher Associates to finish work on the amended zoning code and routine appointments and hires, including hiring a DPW laborer (background check completed).
Where votes were recorded, motions passed by voice vote or roll call; where public concern was expressed (for example about solicitor hours or the timing of contractor notices), trustees discussed follow-up steps. The board also approved moving forward with design/install of fencing wraps at remediation sites paid from a BOA grant and accepted the library MOU with SALs and Comfort Foods.
Next steps: staff will proceed with contract paperwork and scheduling; village attorney to review contracts prior to signature.
