Township committee approves ABC settlement with Fringe Gentlemen’s Lounge, bans live entertainment at premises

Township attorney Julie Aika Tamayo explained the agreement to the committee and said the settlement resolves multiple notices of violation alleged on specific dates in 2023 and 2024. She described the agreement as "straightforward" and said the licensee agreed to conditions intended to address nuisance and police-intervention issues. The agreement prohibits "vocal dancing, ecstatic dancing, or live entertainment on the premises going forward," she said, and contains other provisions shown as exhibits to the settlement.
After a brief opportunity for questions, a motion to approve the resolution was made, seconded and taken by roll call. Members recorded votes in favor (Grisell, Genada, Jorphy, Roberts and Mayor Donna Jacob Griglia), and the mayor declared Resolution 237-25 adopted.
