Staff said RVE logs requests and provides monthly updates to the council member championing the issue, but several participants said the current approach is too dependent on an individual council advocate and asked for a more systematic, public-facing tracking mechanism.
No formal motion was made Nov. 11; council members asked staff to explore options for a consistent tracking and follow-up process that does not rely on particular council members to shepherd requests.
