Hunt County commissioners approve consent items, asset-forfeiture audit, behavioral-health interlocal and multiple road and plat actions

The Hunt County Commissioners Court voted on a package of routine and project items during its Nov. 12, 2025 meeting, approving an audit of a Chapter 59 asset forfeiture report, an interlocal behavioral-health agreement, budget and payroll actions, road upgrades and two replat approvals.

Commissioner Harrison (Precinct 4; serving as judge pro tem) opened the meeting and led the court through the agenda. Commissioner Smith reported the county has identified three candidates for the five-member evaluation committee for RFP 286-26, the Hunt County request for proposals for construction services for the I‑30 administration facility, and expects the remaining two committee seats to be filled before proposals are received.

The court approved routine consent items and several fiscal motions including accounts payable, line-item transfers, budget amendments and payroll and personnel matters by voice vote.
