District updates: KRV arts and music, maintenance progress and Whitstrand water testing

He said some sprinkler heads were marked for realignment to 45-foot spacing to address yellowed turf areas and noted ice-melt and snow-blade preparation is already underway.
Administration reported Whitstrand water samples showed nitrates marginally over the 10 mg/L standard; staff said they will test the well monthly and will install a filtration system if elevated results persist for three months. The board heard that the district’s financial accounting team and the ESD are helping to reconcile accruals and reported one-off timing issues affecting fiscal-year reporting.
