"It is so inefficient, and there's a lot of room for error," an administrator said while urging the board to consider a system that communicates with Skyward. Board members asked for clearer cost comparisons and which districts use Red Rover; staff said Benton City was a known user and agreed to bring additional vendor and integration information.
A trustee moved to table the Red Rover proposal; the board voted in favor and asked staff to return with a cost breakdown and integration plan at the first December meeting.
The board did not approve any purchase or contract during this meeting; the vote was to pause consideration pending requested follow-up information.
