Onalaska board approves 2026 CIP and awards $415,715 PFAS engineering contract for Well No. 9

Diane, speaking for the Board of Public Works, presented the board-approved 2026 Capital Improvements Projects (CIP) list (including 2027 items related to mortgage revenue bonding) and moved that the council adopt the CIP as presented in the packet. The council voted to approve the CIP.
On item 10B, the board moved to award engineering design services for PFAS treatment at Well No. 9 to SEH, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $415,715. Diane noted that the item had passed the Board of Public Works the prior week and was included in the packet. After a voice vote the motion passed unanimously.
The council did not discuss alternative vendors or amendments on the record during the public meeting. The contract award will proceed under the Board of Public Works’ recommended procurement path as recorded in the packet.
