Onalaska council approves $2.47 million in vouchers, general fund and OmniCenter financial reports

At the Nov. 11 meeting, Finance Chair Mike Milke presented vouchers dated 10/14/2025 totaling $2,465,607.77 and moved approval; the council voted and approved the vouchers.
Finance staff Sabrina reviewed the 2025 general fund revenue and expense summary through Sept. 30, 2025: total revenues were $11,148,783.56 (about 7.73% remaining to hit budget) and total expenditures were $8,423,414.88 (about 30.29% of budget remaining). Sabrina explained an ERP reporting change that now includes health insurance premiums in payroll check payments, which increases the monthly check total compared with prior reports.
Sabrina also reviewed the OmniCenter activity: year-to-date OmniCenter revenues totaled $617,169.25 and expenditures totaled $623,654.99 through Sept. 30; staff noted a pending operating transfer for room tax likely to add roughly $40,000 to next month’s report. The council moved to approve the general fund and OmniCenter financials; both motions passed.
The council also approved a secondhand jewelry-dealer application for Ned Tyne LLC (Slice Jewelry and Gold) at 1125 Main Street, Suite 180, Onalaska, as part of non-consent agenda business.
