South Colonie board approves minutes, personnel changes, budget calendar and resolutions; moves to executive session

Instructional personnel changes listed on attached sheets dated Nov. 12, 2025 were approved on a motion by Mr. Keane and seconded by Ms. Giglielo; the motion carried by voice vote 5–0. Support personnel changes dated Nov. 12, 2025 (pages 12–14) were approved on a motion by Ms. Giglielo, seconded by Mr. Miesick, carried 5–0; trustees noted multiple appointments including new bus drivers to strengthen transportation staffing.
Ms. McAllister presented the annual budget calendar; the board adopted the 2026–27 budget calendar on a motion by Ms. Giglielo, seconded by Mr. Keane, motion carried 5–0. Mr. Kachadorian presented a consolidated approach to resolutions acknowledging American Education Week, Education Support Professionals Day and Native American Heritage Month; the board approved the resolution by voice vote 5–0.
At the close of business, the board moved to enter executive session to discuss an employment matter on a motion by Ms. Giglielo, seconded by Mr. Miesick; the vote carried 5–0 and the time was recorded as 7:24 p.m.
