The city told the magistrate that a vacation‑rental (BTR) application had been started but was incomplete; staff asked that statutory penalties apply and that the property owner be given until Nov. 27, 2025 to finalize registration and inspections.
Groot said he would find that the violations occurred and ordered the statutory fines referenced in Chapter 205 to be imposed. City staff will provide the written order and confirm registration status after the owner submits complete applications.
The magistrate’s oral order references statutory penalties; the city will follow up with the clerk’s written order to document the amount and any lien or collection steps required by local ordinance.
