The Panama City Community Redevelopment Agency on Nov. 4 approved a professional services contract with Burke Blue law firm for up to $90,000. Staff said the agreement had been approved by the City Commission at its Oct. 14 meeting and recommended CRA authorization to execute the professional services contract.
Board member Street reiterated that legal fees will be treated as administrative expenses and remain within the CRA’s 20% administrative cap; Deputy Executive Director Brandy Waldron confirmed that accounting treatment. The board moved, seconded and voted 5‑0 to approve the contract.
Staff did not raise additional conditions during the meeting. The board recorded a unanimous roll call in favor of authorizing contract execution.
