Panama City CRA adopts amendments to community redevelopment plans

The resolution authorizes transmittal of required notices to the City Commission and Bay County taxing authorities and requests the City Commission consider adoption by ordinance.
Agency staff told the board that relevant background information was included in the meeting packet and asked for a motion to approve. A motion and second were made, and the measure passed on a 5‑0 roll call vote with Board members Lucas, Hughes, Granger, Street and Chairman Branch voting yes.
The resolution directs staff to forward the amendments to the city commission for consideration. No public comment was offered during the agenda item. The City Commission will receive the transmittal materials as the next step in the statutory process.
