A county representative told the board that the state informed Butler County Job and Family Services that partial SNAP issuances would be recalculated and reissued within the next few days. "Under the new guidance, the federal government will be issuing a maximum amount that each household will receive…a 65 percent [issuance]," the staff member said. The presenter emphasized that Butler County does not hold or distribute the benefit funds; the county acts as a conduit to identify and process eligible recipients through the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services.
