Committee reviews loan fund status; Genet Tax Solutions account sent to legal for collections

The committee reviewed the Revolving Loan Fund status reports included with the agenda. Jessica Mays said the items that previously appeared out of current standing were timing issues and that staff is in regular contact with borrowers.
Committee members asked specifically about Genet Tax Solutions, whose loan record in the fund showed April 2025 as its most recent payment. Staff said the matter has been referred to the city’s legal department for collection action and that, at present, there is no further action required by the committee.
The staff recommendation was informational; no motion was required or taken on the report. The committee moved to adjourn following the discussion.
