LANSING — The Michigan House Committee on Homeland Security and Foreign Influence approved the minutes from its Nov. 5 meeting at the start of the Nov. 5 session when Representative Meerman moved to approve and there were no objections. Later in the hearing Representative Mentzer moved to excuse absent members; the motion prevailed with no objection.
The committee then heard testimony from Michael Sobolek of the Hudson Institute and held a Q&A before adjourning. No formal roll‑call votes on bills or resolutions were recorded during the session.
