Budget & finance committee - Multiple agreements approved for forwarding to full board (veterans transportation, office-space agreements, audited-claims abstract). The committee went into executive session to discuss contracts; after returning, the committee adopted a revised non-bargaining personnel policy for full-time, part-time, non-represented employees, appointed officials and department heads. The committee vote recorded at least one legislator expressing opposition during the roll call but the measure passed the committee and was moved to the full board.
Most committee approvals were taken by voice vote and were recorded as "Aye" and moved to the full board for final action. The workshop did not complete final full-board votes on these items; final approval will occur at the full-board meeting or a later session.
