Council expands Holcomb Bridge redevelopment overlay to include Mechanicsville, adds housing incentives

The overlay sets a density cap of 18 units per acre for qualifying projects and requires site design approval by the city manager or designee.
Adams told council that the redevelopment authority had reviewed the amendment and that the code language was adjusted to reflect the Mechanicsville vision. The council voted to approve the amendment.
