Commissioner Brown presented consolidated dockets: Sierra Pacific Power Company's application for approval of its 2025 natural gas conservation and energy-efficiency plan and the joint application of Nevada Power Company and Sierra Pacific for their 2025 combined annual electric demand-side management update tied to the 2025–2044 joint integrated resource plan.
The parties filed a stipulation resolving all issues in the consolidated dockets. Under the stipulation, the commission should approve Sierra's application as modified and grant the joint application. The stipulation also provides that Sierra's natural gas conservation and energy-efficiency program will be suspended on June 30, 2026, and will transition to the natural-gas IRP process on July 1, 2026.
Commissioner Brown moved that the commission accept the stipulation, grant the applications as delineated by the stipulation, and issue the appropriate order. The motion was seconded and approved by voice vote. No commissioner questions were recorded on the record.
