Hanford planning commission continues six public-hearing items to Nov. 25 to address environmental issues

The Hanford City Planning Commission on Oct. 28 continued six public-hearing items to Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025, after planning staff said additional time was needed to address environmental issues raised at a previous meeting.
Beth, planning staff, asked the commission for the continuance and explained that the commission's next regular meeting fell on Veterans Day and the meeting after that would fall during Thanksgiving week, making Nov. 25 the practical date to reconvene the continued items. "We're still working through the issues raised at the previous meeting. We just need some additional time," Beth said.
The commission voted by roll call to continue the items to the date certain; the staff memo indicated the continuation to Nov. 25 would not require re-noticing.
No substantive decisions on the six items were made at the Oct. 28 meeting; the matters are scheduled to be heard on the date certain for further environmental review and discussion.
