Tualatin council approves consent agenda covering liquor licenses, intergovernmental agreements and playground replacement

Tualatin, Ore. — The Tualatin City Council adopted the consent agenda at its Oct. 27, 2025 meeting, approving nine routine items ranging from liquor licenses to procurement and grant applications.

The consent package included approval of work-session and regular meeting minutes for Sept. 22, 2025; three new liquor licenses (Bold Mountain Management LLC d/b/a Apex Golf Club; Child Logistics Inc.; and PJM LLC d/b/a Lee's Kitchen); an intergovernmental agreement with the Department of Consumer and Business Services Building Codes Division to provide building services, plan review or inspection services to other municipalities; an IGA with Metro to operate a sharps-collection box pilot program; an amendment to the engineering-services contract for a water reservoir and pump station at the ASR project; authorization to apply for and accept Community Development Block Grant funds to install flashing beacons for pedestrian safety; and authorization to purchase and replace playground equipment and surfacing at Tualatin Community Park through an interstate cooperative procurement program.

Council President Pratt called for the consent items, a councilor moved to adopt the consent agenda "as read," and the motion carried. There was no separate discussion or removal of items from the consent agenda during the meeting.

By approving the items as a package, the council authorized the city to proceed with the listed procurement, intergovernmental arrangements, grant application, and licensing steps described in staff materials. Specific contract numbers, grant award amounts and vendor names beyond those listed on the agenda were not specified during the meeting.
