Klamath County Community Corrections reported an agreed lease with Klamath Basin Behavioral Health (KBH) for property at 1824 Vine St., Klamath Falls (ZIP 97601). KBH will operate the site as a community crisis‑respite facility, county staff said.
Per the lease presented to the board, the term commences Nov. 1, 2025, and extends through Oct. 1, 2029, with three optional one‑year extensions. Community Corrections staff asked the board to approve and sign the lease; the board approved the motion and the staff reported no direct fiscal impact to county funds.
County staff said the facility will provide local crisis respite services to support behavioral‑health responses and reduce reliance on emergency departments.
