Atchison County awards Ottawa Road Phase 3 to King—s Construction; Bridge 290 near completion of major work

Snyder also updated the commission on Bridge 290 (north of town on 314th/Indian Hut): two piers have been poured, pile driving is underway, culverts were scheduled to arrive the next day, and the contractor expects to complete the structure and all work except the asphalt before weather prevents paving. Officials plan to return in spring to complete asphalt work when plants reopen.
