Sunset Village Phase 2 roads accepted for county maintenance

Klamath County Public Works reported that a subdivision (Sunset Village Phase 2, tract 1553, 11th edition) completed construction of public infrastructure—pavement, curb, gutter and sidewalks—built to county standards and inspected by Public Works. Staff asked the Board of Commissioners to issue an order designating the roads as Class B county roads for indefinite county maintenance.
The board moved to approve and sign the maintenance order on Oct. 28. Public Works said the road meets county standards and that there is no additional fiscal impact tied to the acceptance beyond routine maintenance budgeting.
