Personnel and procurement: The board approved Resolution 2025-241 to hire a part-time temporary employee in the building department; Supervisor Joan disclosed the applicant, Leo Stevenson, is her son and recused herself from the vote, and Chauncey presided during the vote. The board approved a concession-stand bid package (Resolution 2025-247) to install a working kitchen at the Rail Veil concession stand and carry out repairs.
Services and programs: The board approved participation in the Dutchess County solid-waste textile-collection program (Resolution 2025-242) and agreed to host a collection box at Town Hall. The board approved liability and health insurance through MVP and a winter adult recreational volleyball program. The town also approved removal/disposal of a nonworking Toshiba copier and a Vernal Pond study on Stowepoint (contingent on receiving required waivers for participant safety).
Infrastructure and finance: The board approved a ChargePoint cloud-and-support contract (Resolution 2025-249); a grant had covered electricity for several years and the town will move to user-paid charging. The board also approved preliminary accounts abstracts, capital-project abstracts and budget modifications; those documents were provided to the public in advance of the meeting.
