The parcels identified in the ordinances include 1211 Hundred and 1044 West Main Street, 325 Pine Avenue, 1017 Twelfth Street and 0 Poplar Avenue (properties associated with the Waynesboro High School campus). Council members voted "Aye" on each ordinance; the chair announced the tally as 5-0 for the rezoning, 5-0 for the CUP exemption, and 5-0 for the rights-of-way vacation.
City staff indicated the items were carried forward from the previous meeting and asked whether there were any additional questions; council members offered no substantive new debate before the roll call votes. The council also noted that the measures had been discussed in prior sessions and no amendments were made at the Oct. 27 meeting.
