Staff explained the supplemental scope includes general construction administration tasks (change orders, pay estimates, shop drawing review, testing and report review) at approximately $91,000 and resident review services of about $105,200 based on two days per week for roughly 12 months on site. The supplemental was requested because the original engineering contract covered final design only and the construction phase requires additional oversight effort.
A motion to accept the supplemental agreement was made and seconded; the board approved the contract amendment by voice vote. Staff will proceed with contract execution and on‑site oversight to monitor change orders and contractor compliance during the construction period.
