Medina County transit reports rising ridership, new buses on order and safety-training day planned

Workforce and training: Ryan noted ongoing efforts to reduce trip denials and flagged a Nov. 15 safety and training day for employees focused on wheelchair securement, driving skills and HR topics such as payroll access for new staff.
Other notes: Senior-adult monthly contract ridership decreased in part because of policy changes determining which rides are subsidized; the transit director said the team is adjusting operations and outreach in response.
