Avon plan commission approves minutes and adopts 2026 meeting calendar

The Avon Advisory Plan Commission approved the minutes from its Sept. 22, 2025 meeting and adopted a proposed 2026 meeting calendar.
President Catherine Ransberg called for approval of the minutes; a motion to approve the Sept. 22 minutes was made, seconded and adopted by voice vote. Later in the meeting commissioners reviewed the proposed 2026 calendar: the May meeting was moved because it fell on Memorial Day and the December meeting was moved to the third Monday to avoid the week between Christmas and New Year’s. A motion to approve the proposed dates carried on roll call.
Commissioners then offered brief committee reports. The BCA had considered a special exception for a drive‑through associated with a Chase Bank rebuild; the redevelopment commission addressed invoice approvals, a change order for County Road 900 East and a counteroffer discussion for Parcel 14525 East. No substantive land‑use approvals were issued in these reports.
With no further business the president moved to adjourn.
