Emergency Communications District finance staff presented the district’s fiscal-2026 year-to-date revenue and expense figures at the meeting.
A finance presenter told the board that year-to-date revenues are $813,000, about 39% of the budget, and year-to-date expenses are $522,228, about 27% of the budget. The presenter said revenues are about $936 short of the same time last year due to lower interest earnings and that expenses are about $43,362 lower because some repair and maintenance for machinery and equipment have not yet been paid in fiscal 2026.
A commissioner asked whether the district is "on target," and the presenter replied that it appeared so. The finance section was then closed without additional action.
Why it matters: Year-to-date revenue and expense comparisons help the board monitor budget health, cash flow and timing of maintenance and capital spending.
