Pampa approves consulting and multi-city distribution agreements with Don’t Burn Me Services LLC

Upon reconvening from an executive session, the City Commission approved two items related to a private vendor identified in the meeting as Dont Burn Me Services LLC.

The first vote authorized a professional consulting services agreement between the City of Pampa and Dont Burn Me Services LLC to "explore options" for safer electric utility services, according to staff. Shane characterized the agreement as exploratory and said he had no additional remarks.

The commission then approved a distribution agreement among Pampa and a set of neighboring municipalities that the mayor listed on the record (Borger, Canadian, Fridge, Higgins, McLean, Miami, Pampa, Perrinton, Skeletown, Stinnett, Wheeler). Staff said Pampa is the first to approve the distribution agreement to the best of their knowledge and that if other cities make changes, Pampa would return to amend its agreement to reflect any agreed revisions.

Both items were approved by voice vote; no opposing votes were recorded on the audio transcript.
