The Administration & Enterprise Oversight Committee approved a nine-item consent agenda and moved several items for consideration at the full City Council.
The consent agenda included: a bid for Newton Avenue sanitary sewer reconstruction; a convention center dish machine and prep table replacement project; a contract with Ameri National Community Services LLC for loan portfolio management and loan development services; a contract with ABM Equipment LLC for refuse packer bodies and timber assemblies; master contracts establishing an executive recruitment services pool; master contracts for a 2026–2029 Public Works consulting pool; a contract amendment with Kimley Horn & Associates Inc. for Hennepin Ave South Street reconstruction design services; a contract amendment with Fairview Health Services for Reach Food Resource Navigator services; and an enterprise risk management ordinance. Chair Robin Wansley moved the consent agenda and the committee approved it by voice vote.
The committee debated two gift-acceptance items from the Minneapolis Police Department (items 10 and 11). After discussion about late submissions and compliance with city policy, the committee voted to forward both items to the full City Council without recommendation by roll call, 5 ayes and 1 nay.
The committee approved an amendment to the City of Minneapolis paid parental leave policy to add foster-child placement as a qualifying event effective Jan. 1, 2026. That amendment passed on a roll call vote (five ayes).
The committee also convened a closed session under Minnesota Statutes §13D.03, subd. 3, for strategy on labor negotiations with the Minneapolis Police Officers Federation, admitted a mayoral policy adviser to the closed session by voice vote, then reconvened in open session and adjourned.
