Staff described a competitive RFP process that produced four proposals; MCR was selected as the best fit after earlier long‑term work with previous firms and a recent loss of capacity at Ardura/previous vendor. Staff said the contract value averages about $106,000 per year based on typical usage; much of that cost is offset by project application fees and external project funding when applicable.
Council moved, seconded and authorized the agreement by voice vote (ayes: 4). Staff said MCR has begun transition meetings and does not expect the change in vendor to delay active projects.
