Board approves $52,000 CIP transfer so schools can buy two used buses

She presented competitive quotes for used buses and identified a local vendor with vehicles priced in the low $50,000 range for a pair.
The board approved a transfer of $52,000 from CIP line 91037027 to fund the purchase and confirmed the county will execute the payment on behalf of the school division. Supervisors and school staff said they will continue to develop a multi-year replacement plan for the fleet.
