Students From Across Springfield Report on Activities, College Prep and CTE Programs

Putnam Vocational Technical Academy representative Owley Denoon summarized their open house, college fair attendance and PSAT plans. Springfield Virtual School senior Anthony Martin reported on virtual-school community events, FAFSA support and college- and career-readiness sessions. SciTech and Renaissance students described CTE certifications, early-college credits discussions and student-council activity.
The student reports emphasized college and career preparation, extracurricular activities and a focus on community service and academic competitions; committee members acknowledged the speakers and applauded student involvement.
