Robins Elementary’s principal reported progress across academic indicators and outlined steps to sustain growth, emphasizing professional learning, PLT-driven interventions and family engagement. The school reported gains across content areas and called out a notable 13-point gain in fifth-grade science after focused unpacking of standards and aligned instruction.
Principal Miss Seinem said the school uses a 50‑minute daily intervention block called "Rocket time" to provide tiered supports, and that the MTSS team met over the summer to refine processes and to ensure students slipping through gaps are identified and supported. The school continued to prioritize professional development for teachers (including paid registration and substitute coverage when teachers attend external training) and used restart flexibilities to encourage staff participation in summer planning and PD.
Seinem highlighted increased parent access to teachers and reported progress on English-learner outcomes (a substantial increase in EL progress rates) and on teacher-reported working-condition indicators. Board members commended the school for community outreach and for targeted use of restart-funded incentives and PD.
